The LTR Visa grants an initial stay of five years, which can be extended for another five years, totaling a maximum of 10 years, provided all qualifications and conditions are continuously met. Key conditions include maintaining investment amounts, employment status, bank account balances, and insurance coverage throughout the visa's validity. For Work-from-Thailand Professionals, a digital work permit will not be granted as they are expected to work for foreign employers remotely from Thailand, not for Thai entities. LTR visa holders benefit from tax exemption on overseas income. Health insurance covering a minimum of USD 50,000 is required, or alternatively, applicants must be receiving social security benefits in Thailand, or maintain a bank account balance of at least USD 100,000 for no less than 12 months. Spouses and children are eligible to apply for dependent visas. Other privileges include exemption from the 4 Thais to 1 foreigner employment ratio, Fast Track Service at international airports, an extended 1-year reporting period instead of 90 days, and multiple re-entry permits.
